The "Inclusive Leadership Communication" workshop aims to provide board members with the essential knowledge and skills necessary for effective communication in leadership roles. Tailored to the unique responsibilities and challenges faced by board members, this workshop is designed to foster an inclusive workplace environment by emphasizing the critical principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

This seminar is open to all LABF members who are current members of the board of an organization and those who may be considering joining the board of directors of a particular organization.  Due to the interactive nature of the program, participation is limited to the first 40 registrants. 

Key Objectives:

1. Effective Communication Strategies: Equip board members with advanced communication strategies to enhance leadership effectiveness.
2. Inclusive Leadership Practices: Foster a deep understanding of the role inclusive leadership plays in creating a positive and equitable workplace culture.
3. DE&I Integration: Integrate principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion into leadership communication, decision-making, and governance processes.
4. Cultural Competence: Develop cultural competence among board members to navigate diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
5. Best Practices Sharing: Facilitate an environment for board members to share best practices and insights regarding inclusive leadership communication.
